Not at all! Our program is designed specifically for beginners. We will teach you everything from courtroom procedure to how to examine a witness. Many of our most confident advocates started with zero experience.

JAMUN Mock Trial is designed for middle school students in grades 5-8. We create age-appropriate cases and provide training that meets students where they are.

What roles can I play?

You can play an attorney (prosecution or defense) or a witness. Most students get the opportunity to try both roles throughout the season, so you can find what suits you best.

How much time does Mock Trial require?

Mock Trial involves about 5 hours per week with team practices and individual preparation. Competitions are typically full-day events on weekends, with 2 competitions per year.

Is there a cost to participate?

We work hard to keep costs minimal. Many of our resources are FREE, and we offer financial assistance for competition fees. No student should be unable to participate due to cost.
